Until new neighbor.

Thursday: Going out the door

Paper dreams: alive.
Touched and tacked; put just so
Streaming out the door.

More Wednesday Afternoon: Pez?

Thin spiral slinky.
Obsessive compulsive:
Did the chain take hours?

Oh, Paperzilla!
Paper flames, paper claws.
Swish! Run for your lives.

Wednesday: Campus artists

Bellevue College President Jean Floten takes some time to explore her creative talents and add to the Earthweek art installation.

Sneak peeks of artists,
Caught by Linda Thomas.
Paper-makers: "Cheese!"

Wednesday Morning: Coronation?

Calling all Instructors!

Bring your classes over to the Art Installation and have everyone contribute to the ongoing sculpture!

It's very easy.

Book, dress, sliced pizza.
Basket, crown, and earth text.
Creatives Unite!

Tuesday Morning: Torn Trinkets

It's Tuesday and it looks like there has been a little more activity taking place while we were sleeping...

Mousie loves Swiss cheese.
Will it last the week?
Eaten by trilobyte.

Monday, April 18

Signs went up, and an email went out! Folks wander into the Art building and ponder the boxes of used printer paper, then add their creation(s) to the Art piece.

The lobby is a quiet place when classes are in session, and the art submissions have an eerily alive quality, as if they are quiescent pupae waiting to emerge as butterflies. Okay, so that analogy might be a little extreme, but it still evokes the quality of the pieces as they are amassed together at this point.
